A Message From Student Senate

"We all look for ways to make our community better and show our support. At the Eagle Challenge, students can not only have a good time with their friends and peers but contribute to charities like the Ronald McDonald House, Equinox and South End Children’s Cafe. The Student Senate looks forward to supporting our peers and fellow clubs within our school community and making strides towards our donation goals."

EVENT INFO

What

The Eagle Challenge is a chance to enhance your physical and mental health, build connections with others, and make a meaningful impact on your life and community. It's also a great opportunity to fundraise for a worthy cause, as all proceeds from the event will support non-profit organizations in the Capital Region.

How it works-walk or run

The event is a 4x48 challenge, which involves running or walking 1, 2, 3, or 4 miles every four hours for a total of 48 hours. Participants can register for one leg, multiple legs, or commit to the entire challenge, which consists of 12 legs. The event is suitable for people of all fitness levels, from those who are just looking to become more active and set personal goals, to dedicated athletes who want to experience the full 4x4x48 challenge. Participants can go at their own pace.

How it works-fundraiser

The Eagle Challenge has a fundraising goal of $15,000. The net proceeds will be distributed to three non-profit organizations in the Capital Region. There is a suggested donation of $2 per mile, but we welcome participation from everyone regardless of your ability to donate. We are accepting additional individual donations. The BCHS Student Senate has selected Equinox, The Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the Southend Children's Cafe to receive the donations.
